Stephen Egan’s journey into architecture and construction began in childhood, growing up in an environment rich with real estate development. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for the field, leading him to explore carpentry while pursuing his architectural studies at Northeastern University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture. This blend of hands-on craftsmanship and advanced education in cutting-edge technology continues to influence his approach and the philosophy of Egan Architects today.
After completing his studies, Stephen joined a prestigious Boston firm renowned for its expertise in mixed-use and multi-family developments. His career took an exciting turn when he transitioned to a Cape Cod-based design-build company, where he spearheaded the design division. This role allowed him to refine his skills in high-end, custom single-family residential projects while further developing his expertise in self-performed mixed-use and commercial endeavors throughout New England.

Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Stephen has cultivated a reputation for effectively collaborating with developers, builders, and property owners through every phase of design and construction. Stephen Egan
Stephen Egan is the founder of Egan Architects, bringing together craftsmanship and forward-thinking design in every project. With a background spanning both architecture and construction, he combines hands-on experience with technical expertise to deliver thoughtful, high-quality results. Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Stephen works closely with developers and property owners across New England on custom residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. His approach is rooted in collaboration, creating spaces that balance innovation and functionality while ensuring a seamless process from concept through completion.
Megan Gallahue
Megan Gallahue is an architect and interior designer with over a decade of experience creating cohesive, human-centered spaces across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College and a BFA in Interior Architecture from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. Megan guides projects from vision to realization and remains active in the Boston Architectural College community, drawing inspiration from emerging ideas and ongoing design dialogue.
